I promised myself that I should check the results first on Mondays, but I have to confess that I cheated and took some quick looks beforehand. I felt too nitty when playing NL10, and the goal of achieving at least 3BB/100 on all sites by the end of January, so I could progress to NL25, affected my play. I’m too weak and don’t want to have any negative sessions, and playing only two tables is hard.
My thoughts often drift away, although I can recognize the upside of having full focus on the tables and taking advantage of it. However, I also notice that I overplay my cards when I underestimate players I’ve tagged as LAG. I need to remember that they can have strong hands too and aren’t just bluffing me.
I need to stick to my plan for January no matter what. Yesterday and today, I started playing six tables of NL5, but I didn’t follow through on my plan and messed up my mental game. I’m going back to following the plan, and in a couple of hours, I’ll be participating in Sky’s course on Cbet Bluff Flops. I’ve noticed that every time I participate in one of his sessions, I pull myself together and play more seriously afterwards.
So back to the result so far I’m back on every site for NL10 after 986 hands but only 3 BI of 2.7 to be more precise. Was harder to make one big picture than logging on to the back end and attach them in the post later.
Anyway, I feel rather triggered again by just writing this.
